Core Mechanics
ColorChain is a collaborative drawing game where every pixel placed becomes part of a shared blockchain canvas.
The native token of the ecosystem is $DYE, which is used directly to place pixels on the canvas. Each time a player places a pixel, $DYE tokens are burned, permanently removing them from circulation.
The initial supply of the token is 50,000,000,000 $DYE. The verified token contract has no owner or discretionary mint authority. Cross-chain minting and burning may occur only through the authorized Superchain Token Bridge as part of bridging operations.
The cost of drawing gradually increases with activity. Every pixel placement permanently increases the price of the next one, creating a continuous price curve across the canvas. As more pixels are placed, drawing becomes progressively more expensive.
After the entire canvas has been filled once, the base drawing price effectively increases by one token unit.
Based on the total supply and the pricing curve, the designed token supply is sufficient to paint and repaint the entire canvas approximately 104 times if the full supply of tokens is eventually burned through gameplay.
This mechanism creates a direct connection between gameplay and token economics. As players compete for space on the canvas to create their art, tokens are continuously burned, reducing circulating supply while increasing the cost of future placements.
The result is a system where creative activity directly drives token deflation, aligning player engagement with the long-term scarcity of the $DYE token.
$DYE is a fixed-supply deflationary token where gameplay directly removes tokens from circulation.
Tokenomics
Transparent distribution designed to bootstrap the canvas economy and reward active participants.
Initial supply: 50,000,000,000 $DYE. No discretionary token minting is available.
- 10%
Team allocation
Allocated to core contributors responsible for building and maintaining the ColorChain ecosystem.
- 5%
Base airdrop
Initial distribution to early supporters to bootstrap the first player base and activate the canvas. Tokens from this allocation are distributed through multiple channels including the faucet and direct rewards for active community members. Early participants and active users in the community receive priority access to these distributions.
- 15%
Marketing & partnerships
Used for ecosystem growth, creator collaborations, and strategic partnerships that bring new players to the canvas.
- 30%
Staking rewards
Distributed to users who stake $DYE and support long-term ecosystem stability. These rewards are designed to be distributed throughout the lifetime of the project, with the emission rate gradually decreasing over time.
- 25%
Community tasks
Rewards for completing missions, community initiatives, and participation in ecosystem activities.
- 5%
Drawing cashback
Returned to players as incentives for drawing activity and experimentation on the canvas during the early phase of the project. This cashback mechanism is intended primarily for the initial stage of the ecosystem. If any tokens from this allocation remain unused later, they may be transferred to the faucet and redistributed to the community.
- 10%
Strategic reserve
Treasury allocation reserved to support the ecosystem during the early stages of development and ensure stable project operation. These tokens will remain unused until the project reaches stable functionality. Later, depending on ecosystem needs, they may be redistributed through the faucet, staking rewards, community tasks, or other mechanisms. If deemed unnecessary, a portion of the reserve may also be permanently burned.
